well, i thought of something cool.
the prospect of short range teleportation during warfare, and maybe even outside of it.

how would it work? would the energy requisites be too great? what would be negative consequences on the environment?
maybe it's simply too complicated or too inefficient, but i want to hear all your thoughts on this.

I think it would require a lot of energy, and an entrance and exit.

But remember, 0x10c is based around 80's hardware.

yet at the same time, they are advanced enough to have deep sleep cells :o
the history is going to be so interesting to study, seeing how technology progressed so quickly in this universe.

Yes, this is a complicated subject.

My personal opinion: Deep sleep cells were the last thing that was invented before you were frozen. So, really, your technology is pretty crappy. But, since the universe has been destroyed, there are bits and pieces of destroyed alien technology around. So you can discover different technology by finding destroyed things around the universe and fixing them up. So maybe you would have to find a teleporter entrance and exit before you could just use them.
